MonitAir wins Medical Inspirator Prize

The MonitAir concept was nominated for the Medical Inspirator prize. This Medical Inspirator prize is an initiative by ZonMw, an organisation that finances health research and stimulates the use of the knowledge developed, so that healthcare and health can be improved.

The Medical Inspiration Prize is a series of incentive prizes for the most inspiring collaboration between patients and a researcher (preferably with healthcare providers and companies). The collaborations voted first, second and third receive financing of €75,000, €50,000 and €25,000 respectively. This cash is intended to finance a research or other project that clearly meets patient needs, and is designed to create a medical product.

Result

We’re delighted to report that we won second prize with our concept! With a prize of €50,000, among other things, we’re working hard on making MonitAir a reality, so that we can support COPD patients in their daily lives. > View the concepts of the other prize winners on the ZonMw website.
