MonitAir is a medical company, based in the Netherlands. If you have any questions about MonitAir’s privacy policy, you can always contact us. MonitAir is intended to reduce the severity of lung attacks in COPD patients by warning them of the risk of an emerging lung attack and by advising them to take appropriate measures, such as adjusting the dosing schedule of already prescribed medications and / or by referring them to the treating physician for consultation.

The manufacturer assumes no responsibility for uses other than those described above.

MonitAir should only be used after the treating physician has been informed and data relating to the treatment have been entered into the MonitAir app together with the treating physician.

If you have any concerns about your illness, always contact your treating doctor and always follow the advice of your treating doctor, even if MonitAir informs you differently.

By using MonitAir you declare that you understand and agree to these terms of use. If you have any questions, please contact MonitAir. If you do not agree to these terms of use, you cannot use MonitAir.

The manufacturer tries to continuously improve MonitAir. To do this, the manufacturer asks that you share the data you enter in MonitAir with the manufacturer. If you give permission to share these data, the data will first be completely and irreversibly anonymized before it is used for scientific research and for the overall improvement of MonitAir algorithm. Many patients share their data, but if you decide not to share these data, this will have absolutely no consequences for the functioning of MonitAir.

Privacy Policy

This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes the practices of MonitAir (“MonitAir” or “we” or “us”) regarding the Personal Data and Anonymous Data (each as defined below) that we collect from users of our website (https://www.monitair.com, the “Site”), the MonitAir mobile application (the “App”), or any related services that we provide. The Site, the App, including without limitation communications and information (whether in writing, orally, or otherwise) provided by MonitAir, and any related services provided by MonitAir are hereinafter collectively referred to as the “MonitAir Platform.” This Privacy Policy is incorporated into, and considered a part of, the Terms of Use, currently located at https://www.monitair.com/privacy-cookiebeleid. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, do not use the MonitAir Platform. By accessing or using the MonitAir Platform, you agree to this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy may change from time to time. Your continued use of the MonitAir Platform after we make changes is deemed to be acceptance of those changes, so please check the policy periodically for updates. This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect: (i) on the Site; (ii) through the App. Our use of information collected through our service is limited to the purpose of providing the service for which you have engaged MonitAir.

By submitting or making available Personal Data or Anonymous Data through the MonitAirPlatform, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy and you expressly consent to the processing of your Personal Data and Anonymous Data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

We collect Personal Data and Anonymous Data from you when you visit the Site and when you use the App. “Personal Data” means data that allows someone to identify or contact you, including, for example, your name, phone number, location and e-mail address. “Anonymous Data” means data about you that is not associated with or linked to your Personal Data. We collect Personal Data (non-sensitive Personally Identifying Information (“PII”)) from you, such as first and last name, phone number, e-mail, professional title, when you use the MonitAir Platform, or post information in our support system. We also retain information on your behalf, such as the Personal Data described above and any correspondence. We may also collect Personal Data at other points in the Site or the App that state that Personal Data is being collected.

We also collect Personal Data like Contact information of family or relatives from you when you use the App. We may fetch this information such as first name and last name, phone number and e-mail address once you select a Contact from the list. This information can later be accessible from the Site by the Administrator.

Cookies

Cookies are small pieces of information that your browser stores on your computer. Data collected by our cookies is not made available to third parties.

MonitAir uses these cookies to recognize you on your next visit. These Cookies enable us to collect information about the use of our services and to improve and adapt them to the wishes of our visitors.
